The Role
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Test Technician to perform product testing, quality assurance, and inspection procedures.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring test equipment, ensuring products meet quality and performance standards, and accurately documenting results.
- Set up and operate test equipment and processes according to specifications and procedures.
- Conduct functional, environmental, or performance tests on products/components.
- Record test data and report deviations or non-conformities.
- Interpret test procedures and adjust processes as needed to meet quality standards.
- Ability to read manufacturing technical drawings and specifications.
- Maintain test equipment and perform routine calibrations or troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve test issues (Internal and external customers).
- Adhere to safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
About you
- Essential – 3–5 years of experience in a test, QA, or manufacturing environment.
- Essential – Experience in a similar manufacturing environment – SMT, aerospace, automotive or electronics.
- Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, or software testing procedures.
- Strong root cause and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience with automated test systems (e.g., ICT, functional testers) (Preferable).
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards or Six Sigma principles.
