The Role

Since incorporation in 1990 TechPoint | Golledge has enjoyed unprecedented success. As a leading supplier of frequency control products, including quartz crystals, oscillators, TCXOs, VCXOs, OCXOs, RTC modules, crystal filters, SAW filters and SAW duplexers, to the worldwide electronics industry.

To actively promote and sell the company’s products, providing the best customer service in the frequency products industry and to support and the internal Sales team to work pro-actively in achieving set targets and KPI’s.

Responsibilities

  • Providing dedicated customer service and sales administration support for existing and potential customers
  • Acting as internal Sales point of contact for existing and potential customers covering all aspects of their business
  • Overseeing that all necessary tasks are promptly completed and effectively communicated to all relevant personnel
  • Analysis of all sales related enquiries and creation of opportunities in CRM system where appropriate
  • Responding to quote & other customer service requests from existing and potential customers within 24 hours ifpractically possible
  • Proactive calling existing & potential customers
  • Proactively gathering & logging market information concerning potential customers,customersand competitors
  • Notifying your line manager of any lost business along with reasons for not winning
  • Ensuring actions from visit reports are completed within 24-hours ifpractically possible
  • Ensuring a high degree of accuracy ismaintainedin all tasks
  • Working together with external Sales team on quarterly business reviews (QBR’s)
  • Occasional support at trade exhibitions and customer visitsoverseas
  • Establishing strong relationships with internal and external customers and other departments within the business

Key Performance Indicators

  • Quote completion,follow-upand conversion
  • Sales growth in your regions - Sales bookings, targeting year-on-year growth
  • Sales gross margin
  • Number of active customers, targeting year-on-year growth

About you

  • Essential–Previous experienceina proactive sales environment.
  • Essential –Experience inthe electronicsmanufacturing.
  • Desirable -Knowledge of customers, competitors, and market trends is highly valued.
  • Desirable –Strongcommunicationskills.
  • The ability to travel includinginternationalas necessary.
