As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring that clients receive the highest level of service. You will act as the key point of contact between TechPoint and its customers, ensuring smooth project execution and long-term partnerships.
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers, developing strong relationships to drive long-term business success.
- Conduct regular customer meetings (both on-site and remote) to review performance, discuss ongoing projects, and explore new opportunities.
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities within existing accounts and work with external Sales Team to develop new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for business expansion.
- Lead contract renewals, pricing negotiations, and proposal development to maximise revenue.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure smooth execution of customer projects.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project statuses using CRM tools.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on account performance and sales forecasts.
Strong account management and business development skills, with a proven track record of growing customer accounts. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities to engage with technical and commercial stakeholders. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel across England for customer meetings.
