The Role
Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, this role is to support the daily functions relating to both the product and processes within our manufacturing facility. Our factory is configured to produce complex hardware to support NPI to medium batch sizes, supporting customer with PCB design layout, PCBA assembly and finished product assembly and test.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and improve the company’s QMS, including conducting the internal audits against ISO9001 standards
- Work with the production team to ensure the conformance of goods, sample inspection of manufactured product, including FAIR reports, SCAR reports & concessions
- Assistwith the introduction of NPI products and process control
- Champion problem solving toidentifyroot cause and complete CAPA
- Manage the customer returns process, including root cause analysis and corrective action and ensuring any customer issues are resolvedin a timely manner
- Process evaluation and improvements together with tracking andmonitoringchanges, including the researching/implementation of new processes and equipment
- Support customer visit, audits, quality based RFI's
About you
- Essential: Experience in the manufacture of PCBAs
- Essential: Knowledge IPC Standards IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001
- Experience in a quality related environment
- Experience of updating QMS & production documentation
- Attention to detail, with a right first-time approach
- Lean & 6-Sigma experience is desirable
- Experience with AS9100 standards is desirable
