The Role The company is seeking an IT Projects Coordinator to join its Digital & Technology team. Reporting to the Head of IT, with a dotted line to the IT Project Manager, this role will be responsible for coordinating the seamless integration of technology across various event operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting IT infrastructure, event technology solutions, and stakeholder coordination to enhance the overall event experience. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate with outsourced technology providers to ensure the successful delivery of IT services, including registration systems, timing solutions, participant tracking, and on-site infrastructure. * Collaborate with internal event teams to understand technology requirements and ensure alignment with overall event strategy. * Assist in developing and implementing event technology plans, including defining requirements, timelines, and budgets. * Oversee the testing and deployment of technology solutions before, during, and after events. * Act as the primary point of contact for technology-related queries from internal teams and external providers. * Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, ensuring timely updates on progress, challenges, and solutions. * Provide on-site technical support during events, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise. * Maintain accurate records of technology deployments, incidents, and resolutions to support post-event analysis and improvements. Required Skills & Experience Essential: * Proven experience in IT project coordination, ideally within the events industry. * Strong understanding of event technology solutions, including registration platforms, timing systems, and participant tracking technologies. * Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. * Ability to perform effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments. * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Desirable: * Familiarity with collaborative project tools such as Mondaycom * Experience working with outsourced technology providers. * Some knowledge of data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR) related to event technology. * Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).
