We’re recruiting on behalf of an innovative Independent Software Vendor (ISV) that specialises in delivering powerful, scalable solutions to professional services organisations. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to hire an experienced Solutions Engineer with strong PSA (Professional Services Automation) expertise.
This is a remote-first role open to candidates based anywhere in the UK, with only occasional travel to London for key meetings or events.
The Role
As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll sit at the intersection of sales, product, and delivery. You’ll play a critical role in demonstrating the value of the PSA solution to prospective customers and supporting them through the pre-sales and early implementation journey. You’ll be a trusted technical and functional advisor, translating customer requirements into well-designed PSA solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the PSA subject matter expert during pre-sales engagements
- Deliver product demonstrations tailored to customer use cases
- Design and articulate PSA solutions that meet business and technical requirements
- Support proof-of-concepts and solution validation
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams
- Contribute feedback from the field to help shape product direction
Key Experience & Skills
- Proven experience working with PSA systems (e.g. implementing, configuring, or supporting them)
- Demonstrable experience providing a PSA solution to customers (pre-sales, consultancy, or solution engineering)
- Strong understanding of professional services workflows (projects, resourcing, time & expense, billing, revenue)
- Ability to communicate complex solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced ISV environment
