Job Description
Role: Salesforce Solution Architect
Rate: £750.00 P/D (Outside IR35)
Location: Fully Remote
Length: 6 Months Initial
Start Date: September 2025
We’re working with a leading retail business embarking on the next stage of their Salesforce journey. As part of a fast-moving transformation programme, we’re looking for a Salesforce Solution Architect to define and oversee the end-to-end Salesforce architecture, ensuring solutions are scalable, integrated, and aligned with long-term business objectives.
This is a strategic yet delivery-focused role, perfect for someone who can balance high-level design with practical guidance, working closely with stakeholders, developers, and consultants in a fully remote setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end Salesforce solution design across multiple clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce)
- Define technical architecture, integration patterns, and data models for complex enterprise environments
- Translate business requirements into scalable, best-practice Salesforce solutions
- Provide governance and assurance across development and configuration work
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, programme leads, and technical teams to ensure alignment
- Support delivery teams with hands-on technical guidance and design reviews
- Produce architecture documentation, roadmaps, and design artefacts
- Advise on platform strategy and emerging Salesforce capabilities
Required Experience/Skills:
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect on enterprise-scale programmes
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce multi-cloud architecture and integration approaches
- Strong background in data modelling, security, and scalability best practices
- Experience in retail or other high-volume B2C environments preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to provide leadership while remaining delivery-focused in a fast-paced programme
- Salesforce certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, or CTA track) highly desirable
