We are working exclusively with a well-established not-for-profit technology provider who are looking to add a Software Tester to their Product Team. This organisation develops and delivers a specialist client-recording system built on the Salesforce platform, and they are seeking a dedicated tester to ensure product quality and reliability as the solution continues to evolve.
The Role
As a Software Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software to a wide range of customers. You will work closely with the Product Manager, Quality Assurance Lead, and wider technical team to test new and updated functionality, investigate bugs, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of testing processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a Salesforce-based application that makes a real difference, while also gaining exposure to automation and complex system testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, redefine and renew business specs
- Define testing requirements and design test cases
- Execute manual and automated tests across the product
- Investigate, reproduce, and validate fixes for complex bugs
- Be responsible for the upkeep of test scripts
- Manage issue tracking and updates for bugs
- Provide clear, regular updates to stakeholders on testing progress
- Work collaboratively with the Product and Technical teams to shape testing strategies
- Support additional software projects when required
About You
We are keen to speak with testers who can demonstrate:
- Strong experience in software testing, ideally with exposure to Salesforce or cloud-based applications
- Ability to create, execute, and document test cases
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and test scripting
- Strong problem-solving and investigative skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- A proactive approach, with the ability to plan and prioritise your workload effectively
