TechOhana have partnered with a staffing technology business to bring on a Pay & Bill Senior Implementer for a flagship enterprise programme. This is a hands-on delivery role. The successful candidate will be embedded in the programme team, responsible for the configuration and implementation of payroll and billing features within a Salesforce-native pay and bill platform. The business is looking for an experienced implementer who can contribute from day one, with go-live targeted later this year.
The role:
Working directly from specifications produced by the Senior Solution Architect, you will configure and implement Wave 1 payroll and billing features, perform unit and integration testing, support client-led UAT, assist with parallel run configuration, and provide hypercare support across the first three live pay cycles. The role can be filled across the payroll or billing workstream, with a preference for candidates with cross-functional experience across both.
What you'll bring:
- Proven hands-on experience implementing or configuring enterprise pay and bill software in a staffing or recruitment environment
- Strong working knowledge of PAYE payroll — statutory calculations, NI, HMRC RTI, SMP/SPP, court orders, and PAYE coding notices
- Experience with umbrella, self-bill, and contractor payment models in a staffing context
- Practical knowledge of billing automation — invoice generation, credit note processing, and VAT handling
- Working knowledge of Salesforce — all configuration work is performed within a managed package built natively on the platform
- Demonstrated ability to interpret detailed functional specifications and deliver configurations accordingly
- Experience supporting or leading UAT in a client-facing implementation project
Desirable:
- Experience with Tempest, Bond, Bullhorn Payroll, or similar recruitment pay and bill platforms
- Salesforce configuration or development skills beyond general familiarity (Flows, Apex, SOQL)
- Knowledge of HMRC RTI submission formats and multi-brand or multi-entity payroll environments
- ERP integration experience (PeopleSoft, SAP, or Oracle)
What's on offer:
- A senior, delivery-critical role on a high-profile enterprise programme
- A structured implementation environment with clear sprint cadence and go-live accountability
- A collaborative team spanning client operations, technology, and programme delivery
If you are an experienced Pay & Bill implementer with a staffing technology background and are open to your next engagement, we would welcome a conversation.
