Reports to: Engineering Manager

Qualification required: Bachelors/Master's degree

Job Location: UK (Long term assignment)

Must have skills: Hardware Design / PCB / EMI EMC / Mixed Signal

Job Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for producing electronics designs for high quality aerospace products. Will take products through the full lifecycle from requirements to production and customer delivery.

  • Hands on Design and implementation Digital, Analog hardware for HW Engineering projects as HW architect
  • Implement High speed, Analog, Digital, Low power, Mixed Signal, RF Designs
  • Have experience in Signal Integrity and Power Integrity, Thermal Analysis
  • MNC experience handling global projects and having customers interactions directly
  • Shall have hands‑on experience for at least 2 projects on EMI EMC, Safety Experience (Like Hi-Pot, ESD, Surge EFT, Radiated conducted Immunity, Radiated conducted Emissions, at least few of these tests)
  • Knowledge on Reliability requirements Like DFMEA, WCA, MTBF, etc.
  • Schematics PCB layout Hands on Knowledge or experience is preferable.

  • Motor drives
  • Analogue sensor interfaces
  • SMPS design
  • Failure protection circuits
  • DFM – strong understanding of PCB manufacturing
  • DFT – experience of EMC, RoHS and environmental testing
  • Proven experience of taking electronic products into production

Working practices

  • Conducts design reviews, both giving and receiving feedback.
  • Worked to AS9100 or ISO9001 QMS.
  • Worked with Agile and/or Scrum environments.
