As a Security Engineer, your role is to help safeguard our digital platforms by identifying, assessing, and responding to security threats. You play a critical part in maintaining the integrity of our systems and the trust of our customers. Reporting to the Detection and Response Lead, this is a hands‐on role that blends technical depth with operational responsibility.

What you'll be doing:

  • Conduct security audits and assessments across platforms and infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain security monitoring, alerting, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Participate in incident response activities, including simulations and real‐time investigations.
  • Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to harden systems and ensure timely application of security updates.
  • Monitor threat intelligence sources (including NCSC) and assess potential impacts.
  • Support vulnerability management, including triage, analysis, and remediation recommendations.
  • Engage in penetration testing activities and review findings from internal and external assessments.
  • Perform variant analysis to identify systemic vulnerabilities.
  • Contribute to platform and product security evaluations.
  • Be an active member of the 24x7 SOC capability.

2‐4 years' experience in cyber security in SOC or Systems Engineer role.

Strong understanding of Windows OS, Linux, and system hardening.

Strong understanding of common TTPs and monitoring.

Experience with threat detection, response, and monitoring tools.

Determined, inquisitive, and curious mindset to fully investigate and understand situations.

Demonstrated efforts to keep up to date with latest developments in your technical area.

Bachelor of IT (cyber security or system engineering focus) or equivalent experience.
