As a Business Development Manager for Curriculum Management in our OneEducation solution, you'll own the go-to-market strategy for your product. You'll focus on generating new business, increasing adoption within existing customers, and building trusted relationships across the education sector. Working closely with teams across Sales, Industry, Marketing, and Product, you'll help drive sustainable growth through early engagement with prospective customers and building the initial stages of our sales pipeline.
As part of our R&D team, you'll be dedicated to growing one of our market-leading education products. This is a hands-on role where you'll work directly with customers, solve complex challenges, and deliver meaningful outcomes for learners and institutions. You’ll be the subject matter expert in the Higher Education sector and the curriculum management domain, playing a key role in how we expand across education markets globally.
What you’ll be doing…
- Designing and executing the go-to-market strategy, focused on attracting net new curriculum management customers, in partnership with them.
- Growing product footprint and acquiring new customers in partnership with Sales and Industry leaders.
- Working across the UK as we transform the education and curriculum management technology market.
- Launching product upsell and cross-sell initiatives with Marketing and articulating the enterprise value proposition.
- Conducting industry and geographic customer needs analysis to identify opportunities and fit.
- Managing and supporting a rolling four-quarter pipeline for Curriculum Management & Education products.
- Delivering tailored value propositions, supporting demos, and developing ROI analyses.
- Partnering with presales, solution architects and product teams to design customer-focused offerings.
- Acting as the Curriculum Management & Education subject matter expert, partnering with sales and presales teams in the UK.
- Monitoring global education and edtech trends and competitor products to influence product strategy and roadmap.
- Championing innovation, continuous improvement and thought leadership across the enterprise.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience in education SaaS sales, edtech, or curriculum management-related business development.
- Experience in UK Higher Education highly desirable.
- Experience working in complex global businesses and matrix environments.
- Strong consultative and solution-led sales skills.
- Ability to build strategic relationships and support customer references.
- Recognised as an education or edtech influencer (or emerging thought leader).
- Deep understanding of curriculum, learning, or education management domains and impacts.
- Skilled communicator and influencer across stakeholders.
- Experience coaching and enabling cross-functional teams.
