About the role; As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for seeking out new business opportunities and delivering new customer wins within the middle and upper segments of the SME market. For this role, you must have a proven successful background in developing business within Microsoft Business Applications on behalf of a Managed Services Provider. This is a home-based role with some travel required when necessary.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
- Seeking new business opportunities focused on Microsoft Business Applications within set guidelines and timescales.
- Consistently achieving targets.
- Building and maintaining a substantial pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Accurately recording and updating pipeline activity within CRM.
- Researching and understanding individual market sectors to identify potential customers.
- Forecasting sales accurately by month and quarter.
- Demonstrating TSG’s product and service suite effectively and differentiating our offerings.
- Positioning TSG’s solutions appropriately to clients using value-based and consultative sales approaches.
- Negotiating pricing and contractual terms within company guidelines.
- Tracking progress against targets and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Ensuring professional handovers from Business Development to Account Management.
- Continuously developing knowledge and skills to stay current.
- Maintaining a professional image at all times.
- Completing all sales documentation and adhering to sales processes.
- Utilizing resources effectively and collaboratively.
- Developing leads through cold calling when necessary.
- Engaging in practical sales planning and performance activities, including GAP recovery and 30/60/90-day planning.
