We are currently seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer / Senior Developer to join a fast-paced engineering environment supporting critical cloud and infrastructure initiatives. This role will play a key part in strengthening CI/CD capabilities, Kubernetes infrastructure management and disaster recovery processes within a modern Azure-based platform environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps
- Work extensively with YAML-based pipeline configurations
- Support and manage Kubernetes / AKS environments
- Contribute to disaster recovery activities including secondary repository and image backup strategies
- Support DevOps automation, deployment and platform reliability initiatives
- Collaborate closely with engineering and infrastructure teams on cloud-native solutions
Required Skills Experience
- 8+ years’ commercial experience within DevOps / Cloud Engineering / Development environments
- Strong hands-on Azure DevOps (ADO) experience
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
- Strong Kubernetes and AKS expertise
- Strong YAML pipeline experience
- Experience working within cloud-native environments
Desirable Experience
- ArgoCD
- Istio
- Gloo Mesh / API Gateway technologies
- Disaster Recovery / backup strategy experience
