Overview

Role: Mortgage Broker & Engagement Marketing Manager (12-Month FTC – Maternity Cover)

Location: Remote with occasional office visits (1–2 times per month)

We are working with a leading UK mutual financial services organisation to appoint a Mortgage Broker & Engagement Marketing Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a high-impact role sitting at the centre of mortgage product marketing and broker engagement activity. You will be responsible for shaping and delivering marketing strategies that increase awareness, strengthen broker relationships, and drive intermediary-led mortgage business.

About the Role

You will take ownership of mortgage marketing strategy, ensuring the organisation remains front of mind with brokers, particularly for complex and specialist lending cases. Working closely with Product, Sales, and Compliance teams, you will lead insight-led campaigns across multiple channels and play a key role in shaping proposition-led messaging within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver end-to-end mortgage marketing strategies targeting brokers and intermediaries
  • Lead multi-channel campaign activity across digital, social, events, print, and email
  • Manage broker engagement communications and intermediary marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Compliance teams, and external agencies
  • Oversee campaign performance tracking, reporting, and continuous optimisation
  • Support and deliver broker events and marketing collateral
  • Coach and support junior members of the marketing team where required
  • Ensure all marketing activity aligns with regulatory and brand standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience in mortgage marketing or wider financial services marketing
  • Deep understanding of the broker/intermediary distribution model
  • Experience marketing lending or complex mortgage products (advantageous)
  • Strong stakeholder management across commercial, product, and agency partners
  • Ability to deliver multi-channel, insight-led campaigns end-to-end
  • Comfortable operating within a regulated (FCA) environment
  • Creative, commercially minded, and digitally confident marketer
