Technology & Risk Recruitment are working exclusively with our client, a well-established financial services organisation, to recruit a

Product & Proposition Manager . This is a broad product and proposition role covering

Savings, Real Estate Finance and Asset Finance .

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping product strategy, developing customer propositions and delivering commercial initiatives that support customer acquisition, market share and balance growth.

You will work closely with teams across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Risk & Compliance, Finance, Transformation and IT, taking propositions from strategy and business case through to delivery.

The Role

As Product & Proposition Manager, you will

  • Define and maintain product and proposition strategy across Savings, Real Estate Finance and Asset Finance.
  • Use customer, market and marketing insight to identify opportunities and shape propositions.
  • Develop commercial initiatives to drive market share, customer acquisition and balance growth.
  • Own customer lifecycle management across acquisition, onboarding, servicing, retention and advocacy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys and proposition performance.
  • Develop high-quality business cases and proposals for new products, propositions and strategic initiatives.
  • Assess commercial, operational, customer and risk considerations and clearly articulate benefits and expected outcomes.
  • Lead key growth initiatives, coordinating stakeholders across Transformation, IT and wider business functions.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships including introducers, platforms, brokers and specialist service providers.
  • Support the development of partnership propositions, governance frameworks and performance oversight.
  • Prepare papers, MI and recommendations for Product Governance and Customer & Product Committees.
  • Monitor proposition performance through MI, competitor analysis and customer insight.
  • Ensure propositions remain aligned with regulatory, conduct and Consumer Duty expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Product & Proposition team and wider business.

What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced product or proposition professional with a background in financial services , ideally with exposure to lending, savings or specialist finance.

You should have

  • Significant experience in product, proposition or portfolio management .
  • Experience developing and implementing product or proposition strategy.
  • Background in lending, savings, banking, building societies, specialist finance or a similar regulated financial services environment.
  • Strong customer and market insight capability, including segmentation, positioning and competitor analysis.
  • Commercial experience developing initiatives designed to deliver growth, acquisition or increased balances.
  • Experience managing the end-to-end customer lifecycle .
  • Strong business case and proposal writing skills.
  • Experience presenting recommendations and papers through governance forums.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple business functions.
  • Experience working with strategic partners or third parties would be advantageous.
  • Good understanding of financial services regulation, conduct and customer outcomes.
  • A strong analytical approach and the ability to turn complex information into clear recommendations.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Power Point.

The role can be based from

Manchester or Leicester . The working pattern is

  • Week 1 - Remote
  • Weeks 2, 3 and 4 - 3 days per week in the office
