Technology & Risk Recruitment are working exclusively with our client, a well-established financial services organisation, who are looking to appoint a
Product Manager - Pricing & Performance . This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Product Manager with experience across financial services, lending, savings, pricing or product performance .
You'll play an important role in supporting the commercial performance of Asset Finance, Real Estate Finance and Savings propositions, using customer insight, market intelligence and data to help shape pricing decisions, improve profitability and support sustainable growth.
The role combines product management, pricing, commercial analysis, performance insight and stakeholder management , working closely with Finance, Treasury, Marketing, Credit Risk, Compliance, IT, BI and Transformation teams.
- What you'll be doing
- Support pricing strategy across lending and savings products through analysis, recommendations and delivery of agreed pricing changes.
- Lead the implementation of deposit rate changes, including ownership of the rate change schedule for notice and easy-access accounts.
- Produce regular performance insight covering areas such as volumes, margin, conversion and retention.
- Support weekly and monthly trading activity by providing clear overviews of relevant markets and performance.
- Work with Finance and Treasury to understand funding costs, liquidity considerations and margin targets and incorporate these into pricing recommendations.
- Define, maintain and report on product KPIs, ensuring performance measures are clearly understood and consistently applied.
- Work with BI, IT and Transformation teams to improve dashboards, data quality and performance models.
- Translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Prepare high-quality analysis and recommendations for governance and senior stakeholder forums.
- Support third-party performance management by monitoring KPIs and coordinating actions with relevant internal teams.
- Provide pricing and performance insight to support Asset Finance and Real Estate Finance pipeline activity.
- Work closely with Credit Risk on relevant policy changes and assess the potential pricing and performance implications.
- Ensure pricing activity and customer communications reflect regulatory, conduct and customer-outcome requirements.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone with
- Product management experience within financial services, fintech, banking or lending .
- Experience working with pricing and product performance , ideally across lending and/or deposit products.
- Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and make evidence-based recommendations.
- An understanding of lending and savings economics, including areas such as funding costs, margin, expected loss and profitability.
- Experience working with Finance, Treasury, Credit Risk, Marketing, Compliance and/or Technology stakeholders.
- Experience using data to identify opportunities, develop hypotheses and measure improvements.
- Strong Excel and Power Point skills, with experience working with BI tools and dashboards.
- The ability to work with complex data sets and turn analysis into clear commercial recommendations.
- An understanding of pricing concepts such as segmentation, promotional strategies, rate structures and pricing governance.
- Experience with experimentation, KPI definition and performance measurement would be highly beneficial.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to take an idea from strategy through to implementation and delivery.
- Experience working within agile or cross-functional environments.
We're particularly interested in candidates who can combine commercial thinking, analytical capability and product management rather than someone focused solely on traditional product ownership.

The role can be based from
Manchester or Leicester . The working pattern is
- Week 1 - Remote
- Weeks 2, 3 and 4 - 3 days per week in the office
- Approximately
- 9 days per month in the office

£40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus
