TRR is recruiting for a Compliance Manager role on a 9-12 month fixed-term contract which consists of managing a small team. This is an opportunity to join a Legal 500 firm with a great reputation and at a really exciting time, with multiple new people strategy initiatives. This is a good opportunity for a Compliance Manager in-between roles or at Senior Analyst level candidate with some people mentoring / leadership experience to step up into a manager role. This is a maternity leave cover role and the firm has a fantastic culture and appetite for good compliance.

Working arrangements - Bournemouth (Hybrid 1-2 DPW), Southampton or London (with 1-2 DPW in Bournemouth)

Salary - £65 - £75k + Benefits

Start - ASAP

The Role:

  • Lead a small compliance team (~5/6) to ensure exceptional standards of regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure policies, key documents, and risk registers are up to date in line with the latest regulations.
  • Oversee the Lexcel and CQS accreditations.
  • Monitor and identify regulatory changes, implementing necessary updates and carrying out any training.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, driving initiatives to enhance processes and compliance frameworks.

Key Skills / Experience Required:

  • Strong experience in compliance management within a law firm / legal services environment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest regulations.
