Technology & Risk Recruitment are supporting a major UK Government greenfield ServiceNow programme and are building out a high-performing ITSM delivery team. This is a rare opportunity to be involved from day one of a full ServiceNow platform build, rather than joining an established or heavily customised environment.
The Opportunity
You will be part of a new ServiceNow capability being stood up within a secure environment, contributing directly to the design, build, and delivery of core ITSM functionality using modern ServiceNow tooling. This is a hands-on development role with genuine influence over how the platform is shaped.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and configure ServiceNow ITSM solutions
- Develop workflows using Flow Designer
- Deliver enhancements and new functionality across the platform
- Work closely with technical and functional teams in a greenfield environment
- Support integration and continuous improvement of ServiceNow services
- Apply ITIL-aligned best practice throughout delivery
Required Experience
- Strong ServiceNow Development background (ITSM focus)
- Hands-on experience with Flow Designer
- CSA (Certified System Administrator) as a minimum
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes
- Experience delivering in enterprise or complex environments
Essential Requirements
- Active SC Clearance (mandatory)
- Available for hybrid working (London or Milton Keynes)
- Contract availability or short notice period
Desirable Experience
- Government, Defence or regulated sector exposure
- Previous greenfield ServiceNow implementations
- Additional ServiceNow certifications (CAD / CIS-ITSM)
- Experience operating in lead or mentoring capacity (for senior level roles)
