Our award winning Financial Services client based in the South East are seeking 2 Senior Risk Analysts. The organisation are currently offering one permanent and one 12 month fixed term or 12 month day rate contract. The organisation is based in the South East but have a fantastic hybrid policy whereby you are only required to attend the office 1-2 days per month, at a maximum, with some expenses covered (excluding day rate contract option). The salary on offer for the permanent and fixed term contracts are up to ~£60k dependent on experience. Applications are encouraged from suitable candidates located anywhere in the UK and you must have a valid right to work in the UK and would not require visa sponsorship within the next 5 years. Role 1: Senior Risk Analyst (Risk Modelling / Analytics / Validation Lead the development and enhancement of risk reporting across all key risk areas. Play a leading role in development of models critical to business operation. Perform 2nd line oversight to business functions, supporting them in understanding risk. Support risk appetite setting, monitoring and reporting Assist with Regulatory submissions, audits and Board/Committee reporting Role 2: Senior Risk Analyst (Credit Strategy & Policy) Monitor credit risk performance of the portfolio including arrears, provisions and portfolio trends. Maintain and develop credit risk policies across the lending lifecycle, including underwriting, portfolio management and collections. Provide 2nd line oversight of credit decisioning. Support risk appetite setting, monitoring and reporting. Review proposed product changes and credit strategies from a policy and risk perspective. Assist with Regulatory submissions, audits and Board/Committee reporting. Key Skills / Requirements Experience in a role similar to both or either Role 1 or 2 within financial services. Strong analytical skills and the ability to present data clearly and meaningfully. Proficiency in SAS, SQL, or Python for data manipulation, analysis and modelling. (More aligned to role 1 but also welcome for role 2) Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and manage stakeholders at all levels.
