Know Your IFS Inside Out

Make sure you brush up on your IFS Finance knowledge before the interview. Familiarise yourself with the latest IFS Cloud features and how they apply to finance processes. Being able to discuss specific modules like GL, AP, or AR will show that you're not just a generalist but someone who understands the intricacies of the system.

Showcase Your Stakeholder Skills

Since this role involves a lot of collaboration with finance stakeholders, prepare examples of how you've successfully managed stakeholder relationships in the past. Think about times when you led workshops or facilitated discussions that resulted in positive outcomes. This will demonstrate your ability to engage effectively in a client-facing environment.

Prepare for Scenario-Based Questions

Expect to face scenario-based questions that assess your problem-solving skills in real-world situations. Think about challenges you've encountered during previous implementations and how you overcame them. This will help you illustrate your hands-on experience and your approach to finance transformation initiatives.

Research the Company Culture

Take some time to understand the consultancy's culture and values. Knowing what they prioritise can help you tailor your responses to align with their expectations. It also shows that you're genuinely interested in the company and not just the role, which can set you apart from other candidates.
