Overview:

Their data environment is built on the full Microsoft stack, and theyβre now looking for a BI Developer who can not only design and deliver effective data solutions but also engage with stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes. As a BI Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining robust data solutions and reporting frameworks that empower business users with timely and actionable insights. You'll work within a collaborative team environment, using Microsoft tools such as SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, Power BI, and Azure Data Services. Beyond technical delivery, your strong commercial acumen will be essential in aligning BI initiatives with strategic goals and identifying opportunities for business value through data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimise ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Design and implement analytical models using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
- Create intuitive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work closely with data governance, architecture, and IT teams to ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance.
- Monitor and tune performance of BI solutions, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the BI strategy, bringing in best practices and innovations.
- Identify and present insights that drive operational efficiency, customer experience improvements, and commercial performance.

- Proven experience as a BI Developer working with the Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, Power BI).
- Strong T-SQL development and performance tuning skills.
- Solid understanding of data modelling and data warehouse concepts.
- Demonstrable commercial awareness β ability to link data outputs to business outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical designs.
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
