Metal Polishers Near Stalham
Mon-Thurs 8am-4.30pm, Friday 8am-3.30pm
Temporary ongoing work, fulltime hours.
Starting pay rate based on £12.72 p/hr
Our client are manufacturers of high-end products servicing the marine sector with an ever-increasing product range. Customer expectations are excellence in product design, cost and delivery performance. Due to the rural location of the client site, own transport is essential as it is not accessible via public transport.
Main duties will involve working with thin gauge stainless steel which has been fabricated and welded in-house, polishing the prepared material to a high specification. A keen eye for detail and a genuine desire to create a first-class product is essential.
Other duties will include:
- Using static and flexi polishing machines to polish 318 stainless steel
- Pre-polishing metal parts to remove imperfections
- Grinding the welds down after the welding process and then polishing joints
- Buffering it to achieve a high gloss finish
