Our client is a renowned boutique country house hotel and events destination set in stunning landscaped surroundings, known for delivering exceptional weddings, private events, and welcoming hospitality experiences. They are now seeking an energetic, hands-on Operations Manager to help lead and run all aspects of day-to-day operations across weddings, events, and hotel services. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operational delivery, excellent guest experiences, and supporting growth across multiple revenue streams — including bespoke weddings, private celebrations, corporate events, accommodation and onsite food & beverage services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the operations of weddings, events and general hotel services, ensuring all functions run efficiently and to high standards.
- Coordinate and manage event logistics, liaising with clients, suppliers and internal teams to deliver seamless events from set-up through to execution and close-down.
- Supervise and support front-of-house and back-of-house teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Ensure excellent guest experiences across weddings, private dining, corporate events and accommodation stays.
- Work closely with the food & beverage team to ensure service delivery meets quality and brand standards.
- Manage operational budgets, staffing rotas, procurement and resource planning.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Uphold all health, safety and licensing requirements for events and hotel operations.
- Support the General Manager with ad-hoc projects and strategic priorities as required.
