Technique Recruitment Solutions are working on behalf of an engineering manufacturer based near Lowestoft who have an immediate permanent vacancy for an experienced Team Leader to join their team.

Purpose of Role:

  • Assist with managing the day-to-day activities within the electrical and controls team.
  • Ensuring technical co-ordination with all other internal and external disciplines whilst maintaining and developing processes, procedures and engineering standards.
  • Other activities will include but not be limited to trouble shooting, sales and application support and team building while minimizing business risk.
  • Some of this work will involve visiting customers and sites both in the UK and worldwide.
  • You will be required to work as part of a team and in some instances as an individual.
  • When required, carry out electrical design duties such as producing drawings and parts lists.
  • Develop, install and commission control software including motion control, robotics, visualization and all necessary interfaces.

Key Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Administration (time sheets, absences monitoring, banked hours, holidays, inductions and leaving interviews).
  • Monitor design progress.
  • Review and sign off designs, ensuring they fit for purpose.
  • Allocate and monitor resources.
  • Liaise with mechanical, electrical and control engineers.
