My Client are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Drafter to join their design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics using industry-standard CAD software. The role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to construction and urban projects, ensuring accurate visualisation and documentation of design concepts. The ideal applicant will possess strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a good understanding of construction processes.

Duties

  • Producing electronic AutoCAD drawings for approval, construction, as-built and O&M purposes
  • Taking off quantities and ordering materials related to company works
  • Attending design and progress meetings as required
  • Carrying out occasional site surveys to support the production of working drawings
  • Answering site queries and providing general drawing office support to site teams

Requirements

  • Knowledge of industrial and retail building system envelope essential
  • Proven experience using 2D AutoCAD
  • Ability to produce accurate and detailed technical drawings
  • Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
  • Willingness to attend meetings and site visits as and when required

  • Competitive salary dependent on experience
