Job Title: Logistics Team Leader

Technique Recruitment Solutions are working with our Norwich based client who are a major manufacturer of special purpose machines in the food industry with products sold and installed around the world.

Hours of work: 39 hours a week between the hours of #removed# (Mon-Fri)

Main Duties

Organise the day to day running of the stores operation, this includes packing, receiving goods in and arranging shipping to UK, USA, EU and the rest of the world.

Ensure that H&S regulations are adhered to in the stores and dispatch areas at all times.

Determine work order based on agreed shipping schedule and priorities.

Provide clear leadership to the stores team and elevate to the Production Manager as required.

Introduce documented instructions for all required stores and shipping operations.

Nurture high standards of quality and workmanship.

Keep work area clean and tidy.

Plan around holiday and absences within the Team.

Work together as a Team with all the departments of the business.

Assist in improving methods and productivity.

Process work sheets and other paperwork promptly.

Train and improve product knowledge within the Team.

Prepare for and assist with equipment trials and demonstrations.

Assist with other duties within the Team. Introduce documented instructions of all required set up and test procedures.

Maintain full Quality Records as per ISO9001.
