We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join their professional kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef looking to take the next step in their career within a busy, high-quality hospitality environment. You will work closely with the senior kitchen team, supporting the smooth running of daily operations and helping to deliver consistently high standards of food and service. Key Responsibilities * Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen. * Assist with leading and motivating the kitchen team during service. * Prepare, cook and present food to a consistently high standard. * Maintain excellent standards of food quality, presentation and portion control. * Assist with stock management, deliveries and stock rotation. * Ensure all food hygiene, health and safety standards are maintained. * Support the training and development of junior members of the team. * Help ensure the kitchen is clean, organised and fully prepared for service. * Work collaboratively with the wider hospitality team to provide an excellent guest experience. The Ideal Candidate Our client is looking for someone who: * Has previous experience in a professional kitchen. * Has experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef. * Is confident working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. * Has a genuine passion for food and delivering high standards. * Is reliable, organised and able to remain calm under pressure. * Has strong communication and teamwork skills. * Takes pride in their work and has excellent attention to detail. * Is keen to develop their skills and progress within their culinary career.
