Distribution & Export Coordinator

Our client are specialists in the manufacturing of high-end products servicing the marine sector with an ever-increasing product range distributed worldwide.

They are based on the outskirts of Stalham so own transport is essential as no public transport available to the site

As a Distribution Coordinator you will work as part of a team to fulfil the order entry and shipping processes, ensuring the customer experience is a positive one.

To enable you to be successful, you will need to be a good communicator, liaising with other key stakeholders in the business such as quality, production, sales and engineering.

Given the nature of the business and demands of the role, there may be times when flexibility in working hours may be required.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Management of assigned customer accounts, gathering and creating export shipping documents and organising assigned transport method.
  • The processing of sales orders from their receipt to their despatch, including the maintenance of procedures for your specific customers.
  • Liaise with all freight forwarders / carriers where necessary
  • Work closely with manufacturing & purchasing to ensure the Customers delivery requirements are satisfied
  • Inform the manager of any problems that will adversely affect the task in hand or the customer’s expectations/service levels
