Our customer manufactures high-end products servicing the marine sector with an ever-increasing product range. Customer expectations are excellence in product design, cost and delivery performance. They have a new opportunity for a Project Engineer with a mechanical design background to join their team initially on a fixed term of 1 year but has the potential to become permanent.

Working Hours: 08:00 - 16:15 (Monday - Thursday) and 08:00 - 15:00 (Friday)

The Role: As a result of the increased demand for our products, we have an opportunity for a talented Project Engineer who, working as part of a team, has the drive and energy to succeed. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for driving projects across a broad range of products. You will contribute to all phases of the product development process, applying your knowledge to engineer product solutions to a high level of design excellence and innovation. This role will suit someone either at the start of their career (Graduate) or with relevant experience who will have an immediate positive impact.

Job Description:

  • Liaise with customer as necessary to support project initiation and delivery
  • Define project plans against a project brief, based on customer and internal requirements
  • Ensuring enquiries are efficiently dealt with via the presentation of drawings, specifications, procedures and manuals.
