Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cable Moulding Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation, assembly, soldering, and moulding of electrical and fibre-optic subsea cable terminations and connectors. This position requires proficiency in working with epoxy resins, polyurethane, and over-moulding systems to create watertight, pressure-resistant connections suitable for harsh subsea environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Cable Preparation: Strip and prepare cable ends (electrical and/or optical) to specified lengths and standards.
- Terminate wires or fibres to connectors as per technical specifications.
- Clean and inspect materials for defects or damage prior to moulding.
