Manufacturing Assembly Operatives required for a Norwich-based role with shifts available from 05.01.26. The position involves rotating weekly shifts: wk 1 Monday to Friday Days and wk 2 Monday to Friday Lates, or Monday to Friday Nights.

Technique Recruitment Solutions is a specialist Engineering & Manufacturing recruitment company working with a long-established worldwide manufacturing client based in Norwich. We are seeking several full-time ongoing temporary and temporary to permanent manufacturing assembly operators in our client's semi-automated manufacturing assembly team.

The proposed commencement date is 05.01.26. This is a long-term temporary role, initially for 12 weeks, then reviewed, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidates. Full-time hours are 40 per week plus overtime. Starting pay rate is based on experience, with an uplift for night shifts and overtime.

Please note that this client cannot offer VISA sponsorship at this time; only candidates with full Right to Work in the UK and relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities include:

  • General production and manufacturing duties within the non-food manufacturing area.
  • Working around production machines safely and in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Assembling products, labelling, and palletising in accordance with SOPs.
  • Carrying out quality checks, including hourly inspections and completing associated documentation.
  • Running machinery after training and attending to remedial line stoppages.
  • Collecting materials and filling hoppers throughout the shift.
  • Emptying waste bins and recycling scrap.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work area.
  • Any other duties as required by the Team Leader.

Standard PPE is required (safety shoes, garments, hairnet, and hearing protection) to be worn daily. After training, the job holder may occasionally work alone as part of the role.
