Our Norwich based client are looking for experienced carpenter joiners / stand builders to join their team. The position could be a progressive one for the right individual.
Carpenter / Joiner β Role Overview:
An experienced carpenter / joiner ideally with some experience in the exhibition industry and or event / set building. While we donβt require expert knowledge of the exhibitions and events industry
candidates must have sound carpentry and joinery experience rather than just first and second fix builders carpentry experience.
Much of our work is constructing basic components such as platform floors, wall panels etc. However we also create many customised products and features for stands such as counters, product displays and all manner of unique features. Candidates will be proficient in the use of hand and power tools as well as bench saws and machinery. We work to a high level of specification and accuracy so being organised with a keen eye for detail is essential.
β’ Experienced carpenter / joiner in the workshop and on site installation.
β’ Able to use your own initiative on site and work as part of a team.
β’ Competent in the use of hand and bench power tools and saws.
β’ Possess their own general carpentry hand tools, larger power tools are provided.
β’ Good communication skills, able to deal with clients face to face.
β’ Have a full clean driving licence; van driving up to 3500kg is required.
β’ Maintain the highest standards of work, quality and health & safety.
Benefits:
A competitive starting salary is offered, subject to qualifications and experience. Overtime will be available when required.
Holiday/annual leave is currently 28 days per year. The position is a permanent and potentially progressive for the right individual.
