My client supplies the power generation sectors, including renewables, oil & gas, the process sectors, mining sectors and defence. Due to the expansion of the current business, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Electrical High Voltage Test Supervisor with relevant experience with large rotating plant systems, both electrical and mechanical.

Job Summary:
Oversee all electrical and mechanical set-up and testing activities within the test departments, ensuring seamless daily operations in the workshop. This unique opportunity includes being part of the implementation of a new testing facility, where you will be directly involved in the set-up of the layout, control set-up, drive, cooling, lubrication, and operation. Lead and manage all testing activities based on project-by-project FATs. Testing will include high and low voltage motors/generators and other industrial machines/equipment. Other roles and responsibilities will include overseeing the testing of stators prior to final assembly and conducting high-speed and low speed rotor dynamic balancing.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct both static and dynamic tests on a diverse range of rotating equipment, covering both electrical (from low voltage (LV) to high voltage (HV)) and mechanical aspects.
