Our client is a specialist construction services provider delivering technical support, testing and site-based solutions to major infrastructure and civil engineering projects throughout the UK. We are looking for concrete testing technicians to undertake concrete sampling and testing duties on the Sizewell C project in Leiston, Suffolk.
Working on a major civils project, you will be responsible for carrying out concrete sampling and site testing activities, maintaining accurate records and liaising with site and office teams.
Duties
- Conduct concrete slump and flow tests
- Take concrete samples
- Produce and manage concrete test cubes
- Complete daily records and testing documentation
- Liaise with site management and office staff
- Follow all site health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Experience in construction, civils, groundworks, piling or materials testing
- Good attention to detail and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work independently on a busy construction site
- Full UK driving licence preferred
