The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

Monday to Thursday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM, regular overtime available.

We are working closely with our client who is based in Thetford and specialises in precision engineering predominantly supplying the food processing and packaging industries. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about engineering and keen to develop skills and knowledge to join a thriving company. If you are currently a Setter/Operator keen to learn programming, the company would be able to provide training on programming.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and program Haas CNC lathes & turning centres.
  • Work to detailed engineering drawings to produce precision components.
  • Manage projects from start to finish.
  • Ensure components meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Ensure machine maintenance, cleanliness, and safe operation of equipment.
Requirements:
  • Experience with CNC turning (operating or programming).
  • Perform tool selection, tool setting, and offsets.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings.
