We are seeking a hands-on and passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager. In this role, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service and a high-quality dining experience for all guests. You will play a crucial role in managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.

Duties:

  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards.
  • Supervise and train front-of-house staff, fostering a positive team environment.
  • Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and controlling stock levels.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on staff scheduling, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to get stuck in with hosting and waitressing when required and happy to get your hands dirty!
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a willingness to help others succeed.
  • Previous experience in hotel or restaurant management is advantageous but not essential.

Contracted hours: 45 per week. Two straight days off a week. Hours would be afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
