Job Purpose

Responsible for the qualification, monitoring, and management of suppliers to ensure conformance to necessary regulatory, industry, customer, and TechnipFMC requirements as they pertain to either the products or services provided.

Job Description

  • Manage each assigned supplier\’s safety, quality, and delivery performance through defined metrics and KPIs.
  • Develop supplier capability through continuous improvement, empowerment, and data-driven management.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of product requirements and communicate quality requirements and initiatives.
  • Align and cooperate with global functional departments with minimal supervision.
  • Support and conduct supplier qualification activities as defined by global management system procedures.

You are meant for this job if:

  • You understand problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma and 8D, and concepts like 5S and Lean.
  • You possess good PC skills, including Word processing, spreadsheets, statistical analysis, and presentation software.
  • You have good people skills, presentation skills, and the ability to train others.
  • You have a good understanding of core manufacturing and inspection processes such as forging, fabrication, machining, coating, welding, and NDT.
  • You understand the interactions between industry/regulatory standards and customer requirements.

Additional Skills

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to organize and structure a diverse workload.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate improvement projects.
  • Understanding of audit processes related to ISO9001, 45001, API Q1, both as an auditor and auditee.
