Job Purpose
Responsible for providing planning and risk management support to VSO AI&OB departments. Ensure the systems, processes and reporting requirements for internal clients are in place and adhered to in line with the planning and risk management procedures.

Job Description

  • Adherence to the planning control and risk management procedure
  • Development and production of drydocks and maintenance period schedules, project reporting packages and ad-hoc schedules where required
  • Critical analysis on SIMOPS, critical path, schedule optimization
  • Monitor and report progress on projects, identify trends/issues and provide corrective measures in an advisory manner to project managers
  • Liaise with project managers and project teams for planning matters, facilitating planning meetings where required
  • Liaise with project managers and project teams for risk management matters, facilitating risk workshops and periodic follow ups
  • Attend site (local/international) for complex projects to provide on-site planning and physical progress reporting using appropriate planning tools (e.g. dashboard, s-curves)
  • Support generation of project daily report to the management from the project site
  • Maintain as built schedules and conduct as built analysis, including peer reviews
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis

You are meant for this job if:

  • Planning qualification, relevant planning experience, in oil and gas (subsea)/marine (dry dockings, new build)/construction yard
  • Microsoft Excel experience
  • Mobility (short-term business trips up to 1-4 weeks, world-wide locations, at reasonable notice)
  • Good facilitation skills (ability to facilitate meetings across a variety of cultures, professional levels and locations including teleconferencing)
  • Interpersonal skills (ability to generate and maintain professional working relationships with key stakeholders)
  • Communication skills (ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders to articulate requirements and encourage action)
  • Maintain responsibility and accountability through personal commitment and behaviour
