Job Purpose

The Manager, Treasury Payment will play a key role in shaping and supporting our global treasury operations, ensuring seamless execution of payments and contributing to the financial strength of our business.

Job Description

  • Ensure seamless payment operations: Supporting day-to-day commercial and treasury payment activities, troubleshooting payment rejections using ACK files and resolving issues in coordination with internal teams, preparing, reviewing, and approving payment templates in line with internal controls and policies.
  • Enable accurate cash forecasting: Collecting and reviewing forecast data from internal stakeholders, integrating forecast inputs into Kyriba to support liquidity planning and visibility.
  • Design future-ready payment architecture: Leading the development of a new payment framework aligned with Treasury Payment Policy and industry best practices, optimizing payment method usage to enhance efficiency, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate for success: Partner with internal teams such as Accounts Payable and external banking institutions, participate in cross-functional initiatives and support treasury-related projects.
  • Uphold compliance and risk standards: Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOX compliance, and regulatory requirements (e.g., OFAC, AML).
  • Drive continuous improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process optimization across payment workflows.
  • Deliver insights through reporting: Developing dashboards and reports to monitor payment activity, cash positions, and key performance indicators.

The successful candidate will bring a solid understanding of treasury operations, with a particular focus on payment execution, banking connectivity, and system integration. While not primarily a project role, the Payment Manager will contribute to continuous improvement efforts, including the design of scalable payment architecture and the implementation of best practices in payment methods and controls.

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Execution of timely, accurate, and compliant payments, supported by robust processes, systems, and controls.
  • Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a reliable partner and problem-solver.
  • Sustainability and adaptability of payment processes, ensuring solutions remain efficient and relevant as business needs evolve.

You are meant for this job if:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Survey Treasury business processes; document risks, controls and functional requirements.
  • Design overall Treasury Payment information architecture.
  • Identify technology solutions and implement systems and process for payments.
  • Design and ensure compliance with controls, internally and externally.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Treasury, or related financial operations.
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and Kyriba is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and treasury compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with principles of financial controls, audit and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
  • MBA or Masters (preferred).
  • CTP (preferred).
  • Kyriba Payment Certification (a plus).
