Job Purpose
The Intervention Operations Specialist provides a critical link between operational expectations of the client and industry regulators to help shape Well Service Operations delivery within the NAM Service Center.

Job Description
- Possesses and continuously develops knowledge of Well Services products, operations, and NAM Service Center workflow
- Ensures compliance with all applicable standards and requirements (e.g STD 53, 17G, CFR)
- Owns operational readiness within Service Readiness Level framework
- Drives operational standardization for intervention service delivery across customers
- Leads in planning and optimizing maintenance activities and sparing philosophy
- Ensures all operational documentation is maintained and accurate
- Plays integral role during troubleshooting or recovery efforts and supports root cause analysis (RCA)
- Identifies and supports Lean processes for the value stream (Gemba walks, Obeya participation etc.)
- Maintains regular contact with clients to understand evolving operational needs
- Present solutions, efficiency improvements, and promotes the client/supplier relationship
- Works directly with the Product Manager, Operations Manager, Engineering team and Offshore personnel to deliver value stream operations
- Supports Well Services contractual agreements, improvements, revisions, and negotiations
You are meant for this job if:
- 10 years of industry experience preferred, with at least five (5) years in a technical or operational leadership role
- Possesses working or advanced knowledge of applicable Industry standards for intervention systems (ex. 30CFR 250 and Standard 53)
- Self-driven with the ability to operate with minimal oversight
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence
- Strong commitment to client success, personal & team development, purposeful innovation, and continuous improvement
- Ability to lead technical conversations, with capability to mentor technical and non-technical staff
- Confidence to make decisions in a fast paced operational and client facing environment
- Proficient in relevant MS Office applications.
- Proficient in scheduling and ERP software
- Rig Pass, T-HUET (or equivalent) and required training for offshore, as needed
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Office environment with frequent trips to the shop and to other offices in the plant. Some exposure to possible shop hazards including high noise, heavy machinery, and shop traffic. Fast paced environment with repetitive transactions. Multiple priorities and constant change. Offsite and offshore travel will be required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Frequent sitting and operating a computer and meeting with customers. Active role in the Gemba either in shop, third party or customer offshore facilities. Physical demands may increase in offshore environment.
