Job Purpose
Based in Paris La Defense, France, within the Subsea Installation Discipline and directly reporting to the Head of the Precommissioning Section, you will be in charge of a Subsea project or proposal for the technical management of precommissioning subcontracts.
Job Description
Your main tasks will consist in:
- Writing or supervising the writing of technical specifications for precommissioning services and equipment manufacturing.
- Interfacing with the Subcontract engineer in charge of writing and monitoring the contract with the precommissioning subcontractor.
- Analyzing the technical offers and selecting the subcontractors.
- Ensuring the technical follow-up of the precommissioning subcontract.
- Managing internal interfaces with other disciplines (flexible and rigid design, structure ...) to ensure the adequacy and optimization of tests.
- Managing a team of precommissioning engineers if applicable.
- Participating in interface meetings with the clients and other contractors of the project (such as FPSO manufacturer for example).
- Providing and/or validating testing procedures.
- Participating in testing activities on site (onshore or offshore, mainly in West or East Africa).
You are meant for this job if:
- Graduated with an Engineering degree, you have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in subsea precommissioning.
- You have already participated in offshore missions on installation vessels and/or FPSO/platforms.
- Your appetency for QHSE culture and environmental safeguarding will be appreciated.
- You are recognized for your dynamism, your team spirit and your interpersonal skills.
- You like working in multicultural environments.
- Ideally you have already managed a team of engineers and are willing to share your knowledge with young engineers but is not mandatory.
- You speak English fluently and you are mobile for on-site missions as requested by the project.
