Job Purpose
Provides engineering solutions, in accordance with Technip FMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Performs tasks in accordance with department instructions, schedules, processes, and HSE requirements: utilizing technically correct engineering analysis, optimized engineering solutions, and providing technical assistance to other functions within the organisation.
- Works independently on assigned tasks and participates in more complex projects under supervision of more senior engineering personnel.
- Supervises junior engineering personnel by checking their calculations, design conception, layouts, and engineering solutions and ensures quality and efficiency of deliverables.
- Delivers designs for proposals from customer or internally generated specifications.
Verifies designs where necessary using classical analysis techniques and reviews technical documents and drawings in accordance with design standards.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Competencies
- Relevant Engineering Degree
- Skilled in Manufacturing Engineering
- Skilled in Engineering Drawing, Dimensioning & Tolerancing
- Skilled in creating engineering documentation and Bill of Materials
- Knowledgeable in Materials Science
- Strong engineering design aptitude
- Strong Communication skills in English, both verbally and written
- Strong QHSE fundamentals
- Ability to work in a team‑oriented and diverse cultural environment
- Good planning, organisational, and problem solving skills
Desirable Skills
- Knowledgeable in 3D Modeling and Drafting Standards (NX or Equivalent)
- Knowledgeable in Surface Wellhead and Tree technology
- Skilled in relevant industry codes (API 6A, ISO 9001, etc.)
- Skilled in Technip FMC core applications, databases, and processes
- Knowledgeable in MS Office
