Role: Act as the key reference point for one or more indirect purchasing sub-categories within the region, by defining and deploying the purchasing strategy while ensuring operational needs across various entities are fully met.

Job Description

  • Drive the purchasing strategy and manage the supplier panel for the France, Africa, and Poland scopes
  • Oversee the annual evaluation of strategic suppliers
  • Ensure cost-effective procurement while meeting deadlines and quality standards
  • Identify and qualify new sourcing opportunities
  • Manage supplier contracts in collaboration with the legal department
  • Coordinate purchasing activities with other entities and plants within the group
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with strategic suppliers
  • Resolve disputes and invoicing issues
  • Monitor product developments and share feedback and best practices

You are meant for this job if:

  • Education: Master’s degree (Bac+5) with a strong commercial focus, ideally with a specialization in purchasing.
  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience in an industrial environment in a buyer position.
  • Key Skills: Solid knowledge of commercial law, strong negotiation skills, and expertise in drafting contracts. Ability to read technical drawings is a plus.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in SAP, Ariba, IFS, Microsoft Office Suite, and MIRO. Knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
  • Languages: Fluent English is essential. Polish would be an additional asset.
