Job Purpose
To support the governance, administration and continuous improvement of Salesforce, in conjunction with Performance and Transformation Snr. Manager, Director Global Commercial and Market Intelligence, and the wider Global Commercial organization. To support the Global Commercial and Market Intelligence team in all aspects of data transformation, data analysis, systems/tools and governance. Ad-hoc to support the Global Commercial and Market Intelligence analysis activities.
Job Description
The CRM Business Analyst drives the effective deployment, adoption, and evolution of Salesforce and related commercial intelligence tools across the organization. This role ensures that data, insights, and systems enable the business to make informed decisions, operate efficiently, and progress toward the long-term CRM and digital strategy.
- Support the successful implementation, administration and continual improvement and governance of the Group CRM tool (Salesforce), with direction and guidance from Global Commercial and Market Intelligence management.
- Lead and be the focal point for requirements gathering, refinement, and prioritization to align CRM capabilities within Subsea.
- Drive structured change management, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of agreed enhancements.
- Facilitate regular steering committees to realign priorities, track progress, and manage expectations across stakeholders.
- Monitor adoption, compliance, and data quality; propose corrective actions and deliver improvement plans.
- User onboarding, familiarization, development of global training content for end-users.
- Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI reports owned by Global Commercial and Market Intelligence, and support SSI across the full Power BI suite of reports using CRM and market data.
- Keep active Power BI report and data models aligned with ongoing change management in CRM.
- Identify opportunities to transition Power BI reports from direct CRM connection to curated Snowflake data connection.
- Monitor and improve utilization of all active reports through SSI.
- Support data modelling which enables the visualization of our data, and delivers insights to the wider commercial organisation.
- Support Senior Manager Performance and Transformation in business objectives including but not limited to:
- CRM strategic roadmap: Alignment of all CRM SSI to the longer-term vision, and maintaining/reporting KPIs that demonstrate progress towards achieving the vision.
- Facilitation of regular steerco to realign on strategic priorities.
- Data governance: Support the identification of best practice for data structuring and storage, train other members of the team on Power BI and Salesforce, coordinate and control the access of new users following internal policy.
- Team Digital strategy: Contribute to working group tasked with creating a roadmap for our team digital strategy.
- Support data/system/tool projects outside of Salesforce in support of the wider data ecosystem.
- Support market analysis exercises in support of the wider group strategy and objectives of the business on an ad-hoc basis.
You are meant for this job if:
- Degree in data science, business analytics, data engineering, statistics, applied mathematics or related field.
- Experience in Energy industry.
- Highly committed, proactive and high work ethic, with a personal drive to learn and develop.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- Good communication and presentation skills, collaborating with people across many cultures.
