Job Purpose: Ensure assembly and test operating tasks and activities within time frame in agreement with the objectives fixed in terms of performance, quality, and safety.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Acts as a technical resource providing guidance and expertise for team members in their daily technical work.
  • Assist engineer & group leader to review daily team requirements, coordinate activities and plans, and coordinate overtime requirements.
  • Ensures that labor reporting is accurate and balances with time sheets.
  • Receive project schedule from assembly manager/engineer/group leader, plans and coordinates the assembly/test activities of assigned team to ensure that production commitments are met.
  • Assembles and tests assemblies according to TechnipFMC specifications.
  • Masters basic skills and some advanced skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment in area of expertise.
  • Completes required test documentation including test reports, failed test reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
  • Resolves routine questions and problems in mastered subassemblies. Refers more complex issues to higher levels.

You are meant for this job if:

  • At least 3-5 years relevant working experience in a mechanical role. We are also open to considering fresh graduates.
  • Preferably certificate/diploma qualification and above or equivalent.
  • Clear understanding of general mathematics with ability to write and communicate in English.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Ability to use personal computer or workstation.
  • Ability to operate high- and low-pressure pumps, hydrostatic pumps, high torque wrenches, overhead cranes, jib cranes, forklifts, and rigging.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools and measuring devices such as height gauges, adjustable parallels, calipers and pressure gauges.
