- Review Client technical requirements and ensure these are incorporated in Contractor's specifications and design drawings.
- Review project deliverables including:

Qualifications
- Applicants MUST have the right to work in the United Kingdom and possess extensive UK grid connection experience and in-depth knowledge of extra high voltage power distribution systems.
- Degree level electrical engineering qualification, ideally with Chartered status.
- Demonstrable Lead Engineer role experience through conceptual and detailed design, procurement and construction phases with a depth and breadth of experience in design of the electrical infrastructure associated with chemical/polymer/power/industrial plants.
- Excellent knowledge of European, American and International standards applicable to the chemical industry which must include understanding of hazardous area requirements under DSEAR, ATEX, IEC 60079, API RP 500.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
