The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
We are currently seeking an early career Document Controller to work on a contract basis for a major CCUS project that will last around 2 years on a part-time basis of circa 20 hours per week. The role can be based remotely and will be Inside IR35. There is the potential that we may have additional work that would turn this into a full-time position in time.
Responsibilities
- Operation of Project EDMS systems.
- Following procedures and workflows.
- Performing conformity checks for correctness of documents for number, titles and sign-off.
- Providing Engineering teams with Document Control support & troubleshooting.
- Building and notifying transmittals.
- Monitoring processes.
- Liaising with Engineers, Project Management & Clients.
- Reporting - assisting with status / progress measurement & tracking.
- Working to tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Wide ranging knowledge and experience within a Document Control environment in the engineering sector.
- A background in document control on projects across the engineering or energy industries.
- Excellent organisational skills, and experience with EDMS tools and effective filing.
- A solid understanding of company organisation and flow structure.
- Ability to work alone as well as part of a team.
- Strong working knowledge of EDMS systems.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Accurate with a strong attention to detail.
- Flexible and proactive with excellent organisation skills.
