Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact within a manufacturing environment? We're looking for an HR Business Partner to support our Warrington site, partnering with leaders, employees and recognised trade union representatives to create a positive, engaged and high-performing workplace. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be involved in everything from employee relations and industrial relations to engagement, development and operational HR support. You'll be the key HR contact on site and play an important role in helping the business achieve its objectives through its people.
What you'll be doing:
- Advising and coaching managers on employee relations matters.
- Managing disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence cases.
- Building strong working relationships with recognised trade union representatives.
- Supporting consultation activities and collective bargaining processes.
- Coordinating occupational health, wellbeing and absence management activities.
- Supporting training, talent and performance management processes.
- Monitoring people metrics and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Delivering local employee engagement and communication initiatives.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a generalist HR role within a manufacturing, engineering, logistics or industrial environment.
- Strong employee relations experience.
- Experience working with trade unions and employee representatives.
- Sound understanding of UK employment law.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
