We are Reju, a purpose-led materials regeneration company (a sister company of Technip Energies). Our purpose is to unlock the infinite possibilities within finite resources. You will have the opportunity to help solve one of the most pressing problems facing society today: the inability to regenerate and recirculate polyester textiles.

Reju is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media and Community Manager to join our team and drive the implementation of our social media channels and website. This role will focus on the creation, development and implementation of all of Reju’s social media output.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Reju social channels and create, develop and execute our platform social strategies with the objective of growing an engaged following.
  • Seamlessly integrate policy and public affairs considerations and audiences into the strategy and execution.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to create a comprehensive social content plan that is aligned with Reju business objectives.
  • Help define key messaging and positioning for Reju products and initiatives and maintain a Reju brand tone of voice across all content.
  • Work with the wider team to develop and execute ideas for engaging still image and video shoots across a range of business areas.
  • Create and manage the content calendar responding to and supporting the brand activity calendar.
  • Create and self-edit content for Reju channels.
  • Social reporting and rigorously track the performance of all content and enable this data to be fed into future channel strategies.
  • Self-shoot, upload and edit content where necessary in order to maintain regular and consistent posting streams.
  • Creative direction responsibilities; including writing creative briefs, working with designers and editors and setting visual direction for the platforms with brand consistency across formats.
  • Copy writing in Reju tone of voice.
  • Monitor social media trends and incorporate them into our marketing efforts to stay relevant and engaging.
  • Paid social strategy including a boosting strategy.
  • Responsibility for the KPIs (engagement, reach, share of voice, follower growth, traffic, conversion, etc.).
  • Community management of channels and responding in a timely manner to comments.

We’d love to meet someone with:

  • Proven 5+ years experience in managing social channels and websites, preferably with experience in brands within sustainability, climate tech, fashion, recycling, or environmental sectors.
  • An enthusiastic team player with a genuine obsession with social media.
  • Harbouring a real interest in social media platform changes and news, committed to exploring how Reju might maintain a first-move advantage on each channel.
  • Substantial experience creating brilliant social media content for brands.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing social strategies.
  • Policy literacy – especially related to sustainability related issues.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing techniques and social media platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content.
  • Impeccable organisation skills and the ability to keep projects moving and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Strong numerical know-how for reporting and analysing stats.
  • Ability to work independently, think strategically, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for climate causes.
  • Global mindset and knowledge.
  • Previous experience working with startups or in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment is a plus.
